Summer Welcome Events
Welcome Wildcats!
Please join us for a Summer Send-Off and a Virtual Wildcat Welcome to meet fellow incoming Davidson parents, families and mentors.
Our Summer Welcome Events are a great opportunity to engage with your peers and grow your Davidson community as you start off your family's Davidson journey. We look forward to connecting with you!
Virtual Wildcat Welcomes
Parents, families, mentors, guardians and supporters are invited to join us for a virtual gathering to connect with an Alumni and Family Engagement Team member, as well as current and incoming parents. Current parents will discuss their families’ Davidson experience and answer questions from incoming families.
Please note that the Aug. 5 event is geared towards families who have a first-generation college student. Otherwise, the planned program will be the same each date, so you may select the date that works best for your schedule.

Summer Send-Offs
The Office of Alumni and Family Engagement, in collaboration with current families, host a series of informal gatherings for newly enrolled first-year and transfer students along with their families.
These casual, relaxed events take place in various regional areas. They offer an opportunity for new students and their families to meet a college representative, in addition to current Davidson students and their families who live locally. Summer Send-Offs are a fantastic way to unite the Davidson community, and they allow students to build their support networks before they begin their Davidson journey.
Please note: physical addresses will be provided with registration confirmation.
